Dear student, dear student,
we have prepared a
STUDENT DAY for you
which will take place on 19 November 2024.
The program is varied, so we believe that you choose.

A lot of fun awaits you, you will learn something more about empathy, generational differences and communication, you will test your knowledge, you will play sports, debate with the university management (admittedly informally) and you will even be able to travel on Erasmus. At the end, you will get moving at the PARTY and maybe you will be the star in Karaoke. We believe that you will have many experiences and memories of this day not only on social networks.

PROGRAM AND REGISTRATION


8.30 - 10.00 am V-klub, Tajovského 40
When generational clashes cause losses

Do your parents not understand you? Can't you spend time together and sometimes even have a conversation? Does their worldview seem incomprehensible to you? Are they surprised by your decisions? Are you bothered by your grandparents' speeches? Aren't kids these days a little weird? We will also look for answers to these questions and together we will discover the magic of the generational theory, which hides the recipe for rapprochement.

Empathy - a helper in your relationships

Get to know the magic of this attitude quality, which is one of the most subtle yet most powerful ways we use ourselves. For all that has been said about empathy, it is a way of being that is rarely found in its full essence in relationships. Come and check if you really are an empathic person, or find out how you can become one.

She has a doctorate in psychology, she has lectured at several universities for over 10 years and has also researched the topic of personal (partner) relationships. He currently leads the Center for Support and Further Education at UMB.

2.00 p.m. - 17.00 INTERFACULTY VOLLEYBALL TOURNAMENT UMB - Sports Hall at FTVŠaZ UMB
Student teams of UMB faculties.
At least one woman must play in each team..
The maximum number of players in one team is 8.
Each faculty can form a maximum of one competitive team. In the case of several teams, the team that entered first enters the competition.
Playing system:
It is played according to the rules of volleyball and these propositions. It is played in two groups for two sets of up to 15 points, each against each other. The final is played to two winning sets. The deciding set is played to 10 points. Group winners play for 1st place. The teams placed in the groups in the second place play for the 3rd place.


18.00 - 19.00 60 MINUTE WITH THE RECTOR & MANAGEMENT OF UMB - V-KLUB, Tajovského 40
informal meeting of the rector and management of UMB with students, discussion on various topics

19.00 - 20.45 INTERFACULTY QUIZ V-club TAJOVSKÉHO 40
- team of 6-7 students from each faculty
- in case of a large number of interested parties, the faculty may have more teams
- focus of the quiz: general topics and one special one: )
- 4 rounds of questions


21.00- ... BREAK PARTY WITH KARAOKE
