War conflicts bring sorrow, pain and fear. They change lives, they change countries.
11. November 1918, at 11:00 and 11:00, the last salvo was fired at the signing of the armistice in Compiègne, France, ending the First World War. It is one of the most tragic events in our history due to its scope, duration, and human losses.
11. November was declared War Veterans Day. Red poppies became his symbol for those who died in war conflicts. Because they grew up on one of the bloodiest battlefields of the 1st World War – the Flanders fields in Belgium.
11. November 2025, we invite you to the Military Cemetery in Bôrik. From 17.00 we will remember by candlelight the people who gave their lives, who fell in battles for our lives and our freedom.
