About event
Depeche Road – “Take second best”
Depeche Mode is a band that already has a whole generation of fans behind them. The message of the Saxon tribute band Depeche Road is corresponding: “Take second best” taken from the song “Personal Jesus”. Depeche Road live up to this challenge of making music close to the original with their ambitious sound (from almost identical to unplugged), melancholic singing and visuals. What is crucial, however, is that the musicians are inspired by Depeche Mode's own sound world and that lively emotions arise when interpreting the songs. Anyone who has ever seen the band on their tour across Central and Eastern Europe knows what we are talking about here. Depeche Road offer a brilliant show with the top hits of the entire era. The performances include "Enjoy the silence", "I just can't get enough", "Everything counts" or "Never let me down again".
Cast: Jonny Bruck - vocals + piano as Dave Gahan
Tom Glück - guitar + vocals + synth as Martin Gore
Henry Stephan - keyboard as Andy Fletcher
+ large cast
Adel Zinurovova - backing vocals
Marko Hanisch - Drum
