The pogroms on November 9, 1938 are neither the beginning nor the end of a murderous story of betrayal. On the anniversary we commemorate the victims of the pogroms and ask for orientation and strength in order to defend ourselves against anti-Semitism among us.
The cockcrow - a wake-up call to remember and commemorate
against ongoing denial and betrayal
Peter denies his belonging to Jesus. To this day, Christianity all over the world is betraying its connection with the people of Israel and creating breeding ground for hostility towards Jews and deadly anti-Semitism.
Aktion Sühnezeichen Peace Services, the Evangelical Academy of Berlin and the French Church of Berlin invite you to the memorial service on November 9th in the French Friedrichstadtkirche on Gendarmenmarkt.
After the service there will be the opportunity to talk to each other stay.
