Since its premiere on December 18, 1892 at the Mariinsky Theater in Saint Petersburg, E.T.A. Hoffmann's masterpiece captivates young and old alike.

Spend an exciting Christmas evening with little Marie. As soon as she receives a pretty nutcracker from her uncle Drosselmeier, the big adventure begins. In her dream, she joins the Lord of the Nutcracker and goes into battle with his soldiers against the Mouse King. With combined forces they defeat the feared ruler. After the glorious victory, the Nutcracker transforms into a charming prince who takes the brave little heroine to the kingdom of sweets as a thank you.
