About event
Victor Schefé is a dazzling, shining figure in Berlin's cultural life. The life of the actor, singer, DJ and bartender, who played theaters in Vienna and Berlin and alongside Daniel Craig in "James Bond", had to become a novel. This autumn it will be published and radio3 will present the Berlin premiere of "Two, three blue eyes" (dtv).
The book tells the story of a young man who wants to get out of the confines of the Rostocker Platte and into the free life of West Berlin. In 1986 he left the country, despite his mother's threats. Three years later, the wall falls - and with it a truth that changes everything.
From letters, diary entries, childhood memories and Stasi files, Victor Schefé creates a novel that glows with energy.
Victor Schefé talks to Britta Steffenhagen about his rich life and his first novel.
Admission is free.
