About event
The radio3 event series in Studio 14 continues on December 10, 2025 at 7 p.m. with the graduates. radio3 organizes the “Graduates” together with the Berlin music academies. Young musicians and students should have the opportunity to present themselves.
This time the conducting class of Prof. Markus Stenz from the Hanns Eisler University of Music in Berlin is our guest.
We are exploring a subject that does not require a musical instrument, but requires body language and eye contact. How can you find your own language at the desk? Where does the desire to become a conductor come from? How do the students remember their first experience in front of the orchestra? What hopes and wishes are ripening in the young talents, why did they seek lessons from Markus Stenz of all people?
In this issue we are bringing the great symphony to the radio3 cultural salon. Works by Beethoven, Mahler, Brahms and Shostakovich are on the program. The string parts are played by a string quintet, the other parts, for example the woodwind and brass, are played by the pianist Roi Eden, or by a harp part. This is how a “mini orchestra” sounds and reacts, in which the students themselves are happy to step in for their fellow students.
Admission is free.
