DERNIÉRA_Georg Tabori: Goldbergovské variácie

"An empty stage is a beauty stand, especially on the day of the first rehearsal, when nothing has been scratched yet." – sounds from the mouth of Goldberg. "So get over it." – comes the answer. It was no different in our history. Wars, epidemics, genocides, famines, natural disasters. God created the world in his own image. Is this what the face of God looks like? 🔮

In the Lab Theater you have the opportunity to see the play Goldberg Variations performed by students of the second year of the master's degree in acting at the Theater Faculty of VŠMU. Georg Tabori's grotesque play, which humorously and provocatively reflects God's creation and theatrical creation, is directed by student Máté Kantár. He chose this iconic work of the world-renowned playwright for its unique ability to balance between sacred and profane dimensions.

🦄On stage, the audience can look forward to a remarkable production in which theater as a creative act is intertwined with the very process of his creation - in the spirit of the "theatre within a theater" concept. The atmosphere of the performance is enriched by live music. Come and enjoy a unique artistic experience that will make you laugh, make you think about creativity, faith, but also about the meaning of human existence.
