🤍What is reality and what is just an illusion?
In the history of philosophical history, they questioned the boundaries of perception and the nature of reality in ancient Greece and ancient China, in some directions of Hinduism and Buddhism. Baroque author Pedro Calderón de la Barca, with his work Life is a Dream, also opens up this traditional question of humanity, when it is not clear what is true and what is just an illusion. Directed by Katarína Csikmáková, the plot of the original play was narrowed down to a single day, when the main character experiences deep human feelings and emotions for the first time and experiences what each of us takes for granted, life. This adaptation of the work allows for a more intense experience of the philosophical motif of the play - the question of what is reality and what was just a dream. ☁️
