About event
About the author
Karolína Bílková is an artist whose work rises from the inside - from subconscious layers, dreamy landscapes and internal paintings, which gradually appear on the canvas. The process of painting is not a matter of reason or a plan for her, but an intuitive way in which it leads to what emerges. The images arise spontaneously, often without a clear beginning and without a predetermined idea, as if they were looking for their form and meaning. By layering colors, structures and fine details, it creates works that look live and variable - like mirrors of the inner world.
