The prices of the Czech Academy of Visual Arts have been awarded since 2021, always for exceptional artistic performances of the previous year. Since 2024, the name of the award for the Vizium Award has changed. It is a Czech neoplasm linking two meanings that reflect the values for which the authors are nominated and appreciated by the CAV membership. These are the fulfillment of the "vision" in the field of visual art and at the same time shifting the "vision" of the discipline itself as the expressive field of fine arts, which is developed by Seneustale, turns cyclically renewing. These are the categories of the artist of the year and the discovery of the year. A total of eight authors and authors present those personalities who have either become its laureates (category artist of the year) or are its finalists (the category of the year and discovery of the year) this year.
