About event
📅 A week full of theater | Free entry
📍 Divadlo Ticho a spol., Školská 14, Bratislava
PRAKTIKABEL is celebrating 10 years of its existence - ten years of original theater, humor, absurdity and social reflection. 🎭✨For ten years, we have been bringing productions that connect playfulness with topics that move society 🌍, and we are creating space for young creators, experiment and new forms. 💡🔥
On the occasion of our anniversary, we bring you four shows in one week! And since we are all consolidating 😉💋 we decided to do this:
👉 All shows are FREE to the public. 👈
🎟️ MANDATORY RESERVATIONS: [email protected] 🎟️
Come with us to celebrate ten years of work that came about by chance, but with even more enthusiasm, energy and conviction that independent theater has its place in Slovakia. 🖤
MONDAY | 16.03.2026
⏰ 19:00
☁️ MESSENGER OF THE HYDROMETEOLOGICAL INSTITUTE OF THE ACADEMY OF SCIENCES*
Humorous monodrama inspired by a short story by Zdeňek Svěrák. What happens when radio broadcasting is taken over by a man whose profession is losing relevance in the age of the Internet? Charm, irony and mystification, which suddenly reveals the absurdity of our own existence.
Performer: Šimon Peter Králik
Performance length: 65 minutes
WEDNESDAY | 18.03.2026
⏰ 19:00
🍿 INTRODUCER
Arnošt Goldflam and his poetics of the everyday, which suddenly turns into the grotesque. An inconspicuous usher at the cinema finds herself alone in front of the audience - and gets the chance to say out loud everything she's only thought so far. What if the moment of "five minutes of fame" became a new life plan?
Performer: Veronika Karolína Peštová
Performance length: 70 minutes
FRIDAY | 20.03.2026
⏰ 19:00
🕵️♂️ THE GOSPEL ACCORDING TO KEVIN / V. DERNIÉR + book launch
A grotesque pseudo-historical probe about false ideals, a likable leader and two naive seekers of truth. What if the five gospels always existed - only the fifth one nobody wanted to hear? And what if his message can shake history even today? Mystification, religious satire and political allegory in one.
Performers: Šimon Peter Králik, Marek Lupták, Mojmír Procházka
Length of the performance: 50 minutes
👉 The performance is followed by a short discussion and the presentation of the book Decade with PRACTICE. 👈
SATURDAY | 21.03.2026
⏰ 19:00
🍻AUDIENCE*
A cult one-act play from Václav Havel's dissident period. Two men meet in a brewery: one talks too much, the other prefers to be silent. A comical yet chilling study of delivery, the absurdity of power and human frailty.
Performers: Šimon Peter Králik, Patrik Minár
Length of performance: 50 minutes
