About event
How does typography affect the reading experience? Why do we need to respect rate rules? Are they all written down, complete and up to date? How to achieve ideal readability and aesthetics of the text?
Milk invites designers, typographers, publishers, students and enthusiasts to the first lecture in the Design Talks series with Czech designer Filip Blažek.
12. December at 18:00 in the SNG cinema hall, you will find out what the differences are between the rules of typography in Slovak and other languages, whether typographical corrections can be automated, or which one book you always want to have on hand when you can't make up your mind. (You will be able to buy it on the spot from Brot).
The evening will be moderated by Martin Jenča from Büro Milk.
Program:
18:00 - 18:05 | Opening by Martin Jenč
18:05 - 18:45 | Lecture by Filip Blažek
18:45 - 19:15 | Discussion: Martin Jenča x Filip Blažek
19:15 - 20:30 | Afterdrink & Networking
