About event
The cracking, crazy, but completely human comedy is a journey into the Czech past, which could be an excuse for our present. But let's never say never - this couldn't have happened earlier.
The beginning of the last century, Prague's Žižkov and local elections. The owner of a real estate agency and associated business with wealthy brides wants to be mayor and is willing to do anything or anything to get it. Unscrupulous political pragmatism, emotional cynicism, a purpose that justifies any means.
Václav Štech described the most diverse intrigues and pre-election manipulations with a perceptive sense of humor in his play more than a hundred years ago. Nevertheless, even today, they seem to be "instructions" on how to successfully conduct politics and business. Times change, but power practices persist...?
Author: Václav Štech
Director: Ivo Krobot
Stars: Jan Kolařík, Barbora Slaninová, Gabriela Štefanová, Martin Siničák, Lukáš Hroník, Lukáš Rieger, Václav Vodička, Ctirad Götz, Jakub Uličník, JAMU students
