Experience a concert that you will never have heard before! DES, the groundbreaking project by American singer Desney Bailey, takes you on an electrifying journey into the world of house music. Originally at home in dance clubs all over the world, house manifested itself as a further development of acid jazz and disco music and is now one of the most popular sounds in the world. And what could be better than rousing grooves paired with the most virtuoso playing skills! Reserve your tickets for this unique fireworks display quickly!
New York-born Desney Bailey is now world-famous in the European NuJazz, Neo Soul and House scene. With her love of jazz and her velvety, soulful voice, she gives her songs their own unmistakable character. Her previous work with Jazzanova, Deyampert, Slope and the ongoing productions of producer Oliver Marquardt aka DJ Jauche are played throughout Europe, Japan and the USA. With funky and jazzy grooves, she regularly appears on stage with "The Urban Base Band" with the Grammy-nominated composer & pianist Joel Holmes. She performs with renowned DJs all over Europe and is one of the most renowned artists in her profession.
Jean Ghazal is a true Berliner. Born and raised in the capital in 1990, he was practically born with jazz. His grandfather Günther Schlicht inspired him at an early age. No wonder that he began his musical training at the age of eight and his love for jazz as well as funk and soul arose. He realized his dream, became a professional musician and performed with famous musicians such as Kool & the Gang, Robbie Williams and Justin Timberlake.
Carly Quiroz studied piano in Argentina and came to Berlin a few years ago where he quickly made a name for himself. He not only practically absorbed Latin American music with his mother's milk, but is also a virtuoso in jazz, pop, soul and rock.
Carmelo Leotta is a musician who is now based throughout Europe and has embraced the diversity of musical movements such as jazz, blues, electronic and ethno music. As an arranger, producer and composer, he has released four solo albums. During his long career he has been able to travel all over the world and has had the honor of playing with giants such as Jimmy Cobb, Archie Shepp and Benny Golson. Even today he still plays with the hottest players on the scene, for example in his chamber music jazz trio with Tal Arditi and Dustin Drews.
Jan Trojanowski was born in Moscow and has lived in Germany since he was seven. After studying, Jan lived in New York in the 90s and conducted numerous studies at the New School of Music, Drummers Collective and worked with musicians such as Jim Pepper and Wilber Morris. Now he works as a freelance artist in the Berlin scene.
