About event
"People are hard. People are people. People are fun and play, fantasy and death lines. People are pain and sickness, madness and hurt. People hurt people, kill people, kill themselves. Where is the fun, where is the play, where is the fantasy, where are the death lines? I love people.. Crazy people, beautiful people. disappointed people. sick people. broken people. broken people. I love people like that.. Why for people have lost the fun, why the game, why the fantasy and the lines of the dead?"
quote from the book "Tracy's Tiger", William Saroyan, 1951
"Don't give too much thought to people, they will take it, use it, bite it, eat it, read it, laugh it and then publish it, crumple it, throw it away, quarter it and show them what's in it is.."
quote from the book "Kilián Nedory", Filip Topol, 2020
The endless struggle between love and hatred for people. It's like spinning in a circle, moving along a spiral, a cycle where it's hard to find a beginning and even harder to find an end.
In this series of graphics and drawings, the author Agáta Klimtová deals with the themes of interpersonal and internal chaos, the diversity of human nature and versatile positions of the mind. It processes mutual misunderstandings, searches, fears and frustrations arising from everyday situations and events around us. He goes from a chaotic group of people to a self-portrait, choosing vague and non-specific motifs and compositions in which he tries to find calm and order at the same time.
