Event by: Critical Mass Nitra, Kriticka Masa Nitra
Location: Children's traffic playground, Lomnická 949 01, Nitra - Chrenová
About event
📍 Traffic playground Nitra
🗺️ Route: https://mapy.com/s/kedaruhupa
When: 15:00 start
A program on the playground before the ride.
On Saturday 30/5/2026, Nitra will be transformed into a city bicycle park full of children's joy. On the traffic playground, we will start a day that will belong to young cyclists, parents and everyone who believes in safe and lively streets.
Right at the beginning, children can decorate their bike in a creative decoration station, adjust the brakes or check the bike in the mini-service. And then we go on a ride together through the city, which is tailor-made for children and young people.
🚲 Why come?
because children love bicycles and bicycles love freedom
because riding through the city in a group is safe, fun and unforgettable for them
because we want to show that the city belongs to the little ones too
because shared experiences create brave and self-confident cyclists of the future
You can expect mobile bubble blowers, music, a cheerful atmosphere and a route of approximately 5.5 km that even smaller riders can handle. The whole ride will take about 1.5 hours and is easy.
🎉 And it doesn't end there!
After the ride, we continue with the program on the playground - a competition in slowness through obstacles, which trains balance, concentration and confidence on the bike.
Children love it, parents have fun and we all create an atmosphere that makes sense together.
❤️ What is Children's Ride?
Is it organized cycling for families with children, which combines:
safety,
community,
movement,
joy,
and the idea that a bicycle is a natural part of children's life.
We show that children can ride around the city safely, that cycle routes are important and that families deserve a space where they can move without stress.
