Germany in Emergency

When the unthinkable occurs - encounter with Gehringer & Steger

Defending our democracy - understand how it works NOW

The scenario is real and is played out many times in politics: Germany is involved in a war. Would there then be enough shelters for the civilian population? Sufficient medication? Would our data be safe? Could the Internet be turned off? And who would make the strategic decisions?

With a lot of insider knowledge and detailed knowledge, the authors describe what happens when our everyday lives are exposed to an all-encompassing threat and infrastructure, supplies, information and political apparatus are sabotaged and attacked, even fail completely. A gripping and, at the same time, serious report about emergency strategies and the everyday defense of our democracy.
