The Day of Share \ Giving Day by ”What A Waste" is a seasonal initiative organized by the What A Waste Association, with the aim of promoting community support and sustainability. This special event is dedicated to offering donated clothing and unique upcycled pieces to those in need, without requiring anything in exchange. We believe that everyone deserves access to the essentials, with dignity and respect, regardless of their situation. During the event, clothes and items collected throughout our projects and campaigns are distributed free of charge. Furthermore, pieces created with creativity and care by our team demonstrate the transformative power of available resources.
Giving Day reflects the association's values:
• Sustainability: Reduce waste by prolonging the useful life of items and create conscious alternatives.
• Inclusion: Meet the needs of the community without discrimination or demands.
• Community: Create a safe and welcoming space for sharing and mutual support.

Jardins do Bombarda is a cultural and community center promoted by LARGO Residências, in partnership with Estamo and a group of resident socio-cultural organizations. Part of its activity has the financial support of the Lisbon City Council (RAAML / Cultural Action and BIP-ZIP Program).
