Free entry subject to living room. World puppet day has already become a tradition. This year has a special flavor: it is the 25th edition and the 25th anniversary of the end, which is scheduled for May 8th to June 1st, in various spaces of Lisbon.
Multidisciplinary Project of International Dimension, committed to promoting, disseminating and recognizing the universe of animated forms, the ending transforms into a performance platform of puppet arts, with the presentation of renowned artists and young creators with innovative projects. A show of what is best produced in this artistic area, complemented by various parallel activities. Each year, the end confirms it as one of the most important international meeting points of the contemporary puppet theater, affirming itself nationally and internationally, since 2001, as an innovative and alternative programming space, presenting the contemporary forms of puppet theater to an adult audience, but not forgetting its counterpoint with the most traditional. Designed from a perspective of artistic transversality, the end presents creations that integrate a great diversity of techniques (shadows, objects, direct manipulation, visual theater, etc.) and aesthetic proposals, establishing connections between the puppet and the other arts.
