🫵🫵 ━━━ General Theme and Topic ideas ━━━🫵🫵
It is evident that FOOD is a huge topic when it comes to the matter of, well… anything. Food is present and connected to almost every level of our life and system.
It is, therefore, an extremely important topic to discuss, which can take many different paths.
You might be interested in the personal aspects of urban farming, such as:

* Is it the best way to know that you are eating fresh, healthy and bio food?
* Is growing plants the ultimate way for you to connect in a personal way with nature?
* Should the contact with farming (urban for proximity) be part of every child's education?

However, urban farming can have far-reaching implications that can be both political and philosophical:

* Can it be the missing cultural and educational connection that we have been missing between urban and rural citizens?
* Can urban farms be political in the support of healthy nature inside the cities?
* Can growing your own food have a Social Justice impact by providing access to healthy food to low income communities.

These are just a few topic ideas that anyone can be suggested for the discussion. We would love to hear yours!

​🌱🌳 ━━━ ABOUT US ━━━ 🌿🍃
​Earth & Society Dialogues is a group aiming to bring together people with interest in discussing issues related to climate change and the coping of societies in the Anthropocene — the current geological age where humans are the biggest driver of geological and ecological change.

​Our events are a healthy discussion forum, open to people from all backgrounds, that aims at providing the time and space for new thoughts to emerge, and ideas to spread.

Each of our meetings has a general theme, however, the discussion is led by the participants themselves. This process starts by the participants suggesting their own topics related to the general theme. After which, people divide into small groups where they get to know each other better and dive deeper into their topics of interest.

You don’t need to be very enthusiastic about sustainability to enjoy this meeting; in fact, many of the participants aren’t. You just need to be open to listen, understand, and communicate with no judgement.
