The highest railway is back - and in 2025 it sounds the way people in 1925 would have imagined the year 1999: like high-rise buildings and flying steam carriages. After just half a song you know why you love these four Berliners so much and how much you missed them. Six years of break is a long time, even if it passed quickly for the band - Corona and various solo projects made it shorter than it sounded. Max Schröder made music with Olli Schulz, Francesco Wilking with the Crucchi Gang, Moritz Krämer published with the sad lobsters and the cowardly beauty, among others, and Felix Weigt became a podcaster and even wanted to give up music completely at times.
But now Die Höchste Eisenbahn are not only back with a big tour in autumn 2025, but also with a new album: “When we see each other again, we'll scream at each other again”. There is a whole series of fresh catchy tunes: “This Life”, “I'll be right back” and “Office Days”. After a jam-packed tour, it's finally heading outside in 2026 - with open airs in Hamburg, Leipzig, Kaiserslautern and Berlin. There Francesco Wilking, Moritz Krämer, Felix Weigt and Max Schröder not only play their old favorite songs, but also their new pieces. And after the first few minutes you can feel exactly why these four men are a real all-time favorite for so many.
