About event
The Eastern Woman - The Unknown Creature
For over three and a half decades she has been haunting the public discourse as a phenomenon - the Eastern Woman. Immediately after the fall of the Berlin Wall, she was applauded in the German media for her supposed sexual impartiality, but she was later described as a sophisticated sphinx who - see Merkel or Wagenknecht - strives for power over the corpses of men.
While the Ostmann still has the loser image to this day - and his portrait can only be found in the photo archives of the major magazines under the keywords Harz IV, Stasi, Pegida and AfD, The Ostfrau remains shrouded in mystery.
In his new video snippet lecture, Jürgen Kuttner is now making an honorable attempt to finally get closer to the enigma of the Ostfrau. An equally educational and entertaining evening for all genders.
23 € in advance / 27 € at the box office (please find out about discounts on our website www.theater-ost.de)
