About event
(English Below) ⬇
How does food connect us with places and people? ✌️
»At this workshop, we will explore cooking rituals through body senses, performance and common act of eating. We will focus on personal recipes, local herbs, vegetables and markets. Every day we create edible works of art that we will cook with a sunny energy or prepare in an artistic way - but the most important thing will be that we will enjoy the food together. We will also cook the legendary ax soup again and reveal the personal stories of all connected. The artist or artist does not only create the work they exhibit, but also involve themselves - their body. The work of the work often takes place directly with the participation of other present - spectators, which often become direct participants in the process of creation of art work. In our workshop, performance and cooking in this way will create edible works of art.
What will the workshop Performance + Cooking will bring you?
»Knowledge of visual arts and basics of art creation.
For whom is the workshop of performance + cooking? 📍
We invite all people from 15 to 99, regardless of previous experience. The workshop will be beneficial for the student of art schools, local artists and artists, but also for people and communities that are devoted to food and eating (interested in environmental, cultivation, healthy nutrition and sustainable lifestyle, food bloggers, etc.). from 18:00 to 21:00. Who will lead the workshop of Performance + Cooking? Rocko Juhász (SK/HU) and Mads Floor Andersen (DK) use performative art to explore how we can connect through the senses and food with the places where we live.
