The past is always shaped by the present. It is not only what happened, but also by how we talk about it, how we remember it, translate it, simplify. New interpretations of history are created in each generation. Some strengthen power structures, others question them. It is in this variability, in the possibility of revising and re -thinking what we considered given, there is a birth for imagination and change. And this space is also a place where you can again ask what role in shaping the society plays gender, care and relationship to the outside world. Through diverse artistic approaches, it opens the question of the role in these processes plays language, memory, body and everyday objects. HOUR. The Exhibition Forget Me Not Examines How the Stories of Our Past Are Constructed and How Our Current Social Patterns and Norms Are Formed Through Them. Via the Means of Divers Artistic Approaches, IT Opens Up the Question as to What the role in these processes is played by Language, Memory, The Body and Mundane Objects.
