AVU DIPLOMAS 2026: Eye of the Storm
Performance Sunday
28. June

The last day of the diploma festival will end with a special performance program and a guided tour with Hana Janečková, this year's curator.

Program:
3:30 p.m. – Eve Miller @eve.david.miller, AVU main building
4:00 p.m. – Guided tour, starting at the main building at the gatehouse
6:00 p.m. – Antonín Závodný @sorbitoldrops, AVU Veletržní
18.45 – Tina Hrevušová @bxtq, AVU main building

Eve Miller – Soft Mechanisms
Eve Miller presents a performance based on the repetition of habitual gestures that gradually transform and lose their clarity. In the role of a crow, he delivers a spoken text that disrupts and distorts movement. Through repetition, the work explores how behavior is learned, how it is shared and how it can be subtly disrupted.

Antonín Závodný – Ghost Artist Conference live
Antonín Závodný (sorbitol drops) will present a special musical live set for a twelve-channel sound system as part of his Ghost Artist Conference installation at AVU Veletržní. He will work with recycling sample material from playlists of "functional music" extracted from Spotify, by manipulating which he transforms anonymous consumer sound into a new expressive musical expression. Spotify playlists such as "Deep sleep" or "Stress relief" will become the main vehicle for a twelve-voice musical-conversational drama.

Tina Hrevušová – Forgotten Fontanelle
The performance creates a personal queer mythology in which the character of the amoeba parasite becomes a mythological being and a metaphor for human relationships. It represents toxic and parasitic relationships in which one person subtly enters the psyche of another, imitates closeness or empathy and gradually disrupts their autonomy. Dej disrupts the idea of man as an isolated being and considers the body as a permeable space formed by relationships, memories and collective experiences.

AVU GRADUATES 2026: Eye of the Storm
Performance Sunday
28 Jume

We’ll wrap up the final day of the diploma festival with a special program featuring performances and a guided tour with Hana Janečková, this year’s curator.

Programme:
3.30 pm – Eve Miller @eve.david.miller, AVU Main Building
4 pm – Guided tour, starting at the main building
6 pm Antonín Závodný @sorbitoldrops, AVU Veletržní
6.45 pm – Tina Hrevušová @bxtq, AVU main building

Eve Miller – Soft Mechanisms
Eve Miller presents a performance of repeated habitual gestures that gradually shift and lose clarity. As a crow persona, she delivers spoken word which interrupts and distorts the movement. Through repetition, the work explores how behavior is learned, shared, and quietly destabilized.

Antonín Závodný – Ghost Artist Conference live
Antonín Závodný (sorbitol drops) will present a special live music set for a twelve-channel sound system as part of his installation Ghost Artist Conference at AVU Veletržní. He will work with recycled sample material from "functional music" playlists extracted from Spotify, manipulating them to transform anonymous consumer sound into a new form of expressive musical language. Spotify playlists such as “Deep Sleep” or “Stress Relief” will serve as the primary medium for a twelve-part musical-conversational drama.

Tina Hrevušová – Forgotten Fontanelle
The performance creates a personal queer mythology in which the character of an amoeba parasite becomes a mythological being and a metaphor for human relationships. It depicts toxic and parasitic relationships in which one person subtly infiltrates another's psyche, mimics closeness or empathy, and gradually erodes their autonomy. The narrative challenges the notion of human beings as isolated entities and conceives the body as a permeable space shaped by relationships, memories, and collective experiences.
