The Union is trying to keep up with the rapid development of artificial intelligence - it wants to support the development of innovation, but at the same time ensure the safety and protection of fundamental rights. The European Parliament has approved an act on artificial intelligence, the first comprehensive AI regulation in the world, and is now debating its impact on individual sectors and the possibilities of further support for the European AI ecosystem or its update. Meanwhile, the European Commission on the Action Plan has sketched that the EU should become a leader in the AI area. Can it work? And what does the EU have to do for it?
- How does Europe cost AI and what plans? What role does the Czech Republic play in them?
- What does Europe bring and what is my risks?
- How should the EU set a balance between regulation and competitiveness?
- Should the EU post the act of artificial intelligence, as required by the Czech Republic? Why yes/no?
- What should Europe do not stay behind in the global technology development?
In the discussion: The Institute of Formal and Applied Linguistics at the Faculty of Mathematics and Physics of Charles University, Openeurollm project coordinator
The organizer of the European Parliament in the Czech Republic in cooperation with the Association for European Policy, z.s., associated with EURACTIV.cz. Intelligence.
We will look forward to it!
