What does the training of future teachers look like in Slovakia and the Czech Republic? What works well and what are the biggest problems? What needs to be done so that future teachers are better prepared for their work in schools? What changes are being prepared in the Czech Republic and can we be inspired by them?

We invite you on November 25, 2025 to A4 - Space of contemporary culture in Bratislava, where together with experts we will open the topic of training future teachers.

Who will discuss with us?

- Jarmila Kmeťová - president of the Association for Teacher Training and Education and vice-rector for education at the Matej Bel University in Banská Bystrica

– Blanka Pravdová – strategic leader of the Teachers' Tribe in the organization Teacher Live and senior ministerial adviser at the Ministry of Education, Youth and Sports of the Czech Republic

– Martin Kuruc – associate professor of teaching and pedagogical sciences at the Faculty of Pedagogy of the Comenius University in Bratislava

The discussion will be accompanied by Michal Rehúš from the Education Center analyses.

The event is intended for everyone who cares about the quality of education in Slovakia.
