GUEST: Lucia Kašiarová is the founder of the Studio ALTA cultural center in Prague, which is used by independent artists in the field of dance, new theater and social educational projects. Since 2022, she has been working as the director of the Studio Dance Theatre, the only professional theater focused on contemporary dance in Slovakia. In the past, she led the festival of Slovak contemporary dance HYBAJ HO, the movement theater and pantomime festival Kašparov Kolínský Mimoriál, and she currently leads the international festival Dni tanca/Dance days. It is a challenge for her to find differences and overlaps in the management and creation of an artistic program in established and non-established cultural institutions. Her artistic work is wide-ranging, she chooses artists who are open to research and consider art a path to knowledge and building a healthy society. It supports the domestic and foreign artistic creation of people who are sincerely looking for a way to self-knowledge and reflect the world in which they live. He understands the form of art as a means of personal experience, which motivates society to self-reflection and personal activity.

The discussion on the interface of contemporary dance performativity and visual arts is interdisciplinary. into new forms of artistic expression. The experimental relationship between movement and visual expression emphasizes the process of creation and the involvement of the recipient. Conceptual aesthetics is an integral part of dance today, forming a dynamic connection between art installations, choreography, scenography and the ephemerality of movement. This dialogue of both disciplines offers a temporal framework for the perception of the body, time and space in art.
