We invite you to the bookstore for a presentation of young poetry by three authors Mária Maxová, Tamara Almáši and Damián Džubak.
Who publish their author's books in the DŽAD publishing house.
What is DŽAD?
DŽAD is a young independent from Košice. publishing house that brings new poetry. Versed and free words from young Slovak artists. DŽAD was originally created on the grounds of the Faculty of Arts in Košice as a concept for a diploma thesis. The name DŽAD originated from a dialect word that denotes, for example, a car wreck, a drunkard, or simply something that doesn't fit. Our poetry, which DŽAD published as a publishing house in 4 collections, is also based on this idea.
Together, the books form the series First Editions, in which you will find poetry about life and death, about faith and love, about sadness and darkness.
The discussion will take place as part of the Literary Evenings project and the event was supported from public resources by the Art Support Fund
The discussion will be streamed on FB and subsequently saved on the YouTube channel of the Žilina Literary Festival.
