We invite you to the next installment of the series Discussion evenings at the Town Hall, and this time our guest will be Ing. Rastislav Káčer.
Currently one of the most experienced Slovak diplomats, who knew the diplomatic service from the ground up and held important positions in it, such as ambassador to the USA, the Czech Republic and the Hungarian Republic, first secretary of the Slovak Mission to NATO in Brussels, director of the department analyzes and planning of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and European Affairs. In addition, he worked as the state secretary of the Ministry of Defense of the Slovak Republic and co-founded and for a time chaired the civic association GLOBSEC.
From September 2022 to May 2023, Rastislav Káčer was the Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Slovak Republic.
He is currently engaged in commenting on political developments in Slovakia and abroad. The podcast he prepares with the editor-in-chief of the news server Aktuality.sk – Peter Bárdy has become very popular.
