Location: Dom Quo Vadis, Hurbanovo námestie 1, Bratislava - Staré Mesto
About event
We cordially invite you to a discussion evening with the popular Czech psychologist and theologian Kateřina Lachmanová on the topic of Caricatures of God.
The ideas about God that we create in life are often not the image of the real God, but rather "caricatures" - ideas shaped by our experiences, relationships and authorities. God as an old man, a policeman, a puppeteer, a strict judge or, on the contrary, a merciful God - this is also how people often imagine him.
The greatest influence on our initial image of God is often the experience with an earthly father - good, bad or even absent - and also experiences with various authorities. Fortunately, however, we are not only dependent on imperfect human models. God's grace works in the life of each of us, and God himself wants us to know him as he really is.
Come and listen to thought-provoking thoughts and join the discussion.
