Distant Bells with a fantastic Pink Floyd show
Reproducing the sound of the legendary Pink Floyd on stage in a stylish and high-quality way is always a challenge for musicians. Distant Bells from Brno in the Czech Republic are eight perfect musicians who have successfully taken on this task. The eight-piece band covers Pink Floyd with a variety of live instruments including 3 guitars, 6 vocals, 2 keyboards, bass, drum and saxophone. Visitors can also expect a sophisticated light show with many surprising effects. This formation was founded in 2003 as part of a major musical “The Pink Floyd Odyssey” at the Brno City Theater. The current repertoire ranges from songs from the first album (“Astronomy domine”) to “Money” from “The dark side of the moon” and eight songs from the album “Division bell”. Including 3 solo numbers by Rick Wright and David Gilmour, the band can recreate an incredible 68 numbers from the originals. Every organizer can choose to focus their event on the old Pink Floyd or rather on “The Wall-Pink Floyd”. Please discuss this with us in advance. And of course in 2023 the musicians will take on the task of primarily playing songs from "Dark side of the moon", which is celebrating its 50th anniversary of release.
