About event
In inspiring conversations in our Theater Cafe, where we meet with personalities - leading members of our three SND artistic ensembles, but also with invited guests every third Thursday of the month, we welcome Jolana Fogašová - an excellent opera and concert soloist, a noble lady who was applauded at dozens of the most prestigious theater stages and concert stages of the world.
At the beginning of her artistic career, she became a finalist in the Luciano Pavarotti International Singing Competition. Since 1992, her name has been associated with the Opera of the CIS.
She has performed on opera and concert stages in Milan, Munich, Paris, Naples, Florence, Moscow, Buenos Aires, Beijing, Vienna, Amsterdam, Brussels, Lisbon , Istanbul, Rome, Tokyo, Budapest and many others.
She sang under the baton of such personalities as Zubin Mehta, Pierre Boulez, Fabio Luisi, Iván Fischer, Ondrej Lenárd...
In the current repertoire of the SND Opera, she has eight prominent characters and another important mission was added to her portfolio - she became the head of the SND Opera Studio.
She will talk about all this in the Theater Café and also answer interesting questions visitors.
Interviews in the Theater Café are conducted by long-time SND press secretary Izabela Pažítková.
