About event
On the occasion of World Refugees Day, which we commemorate every year on 20 June, we cordially invite you to an emotional and inspiring theater performance entitled "From Letters to the Stage".
This event is the result of cooperation between UNHCR Slovakia and Theatra Bratislava, with the support of the East Slovak Gallery and the Košice self -governing region.
"From the letters to the stage" connects Slovaks and Slovaks and Ukrainian refugees and refugees, changing the moving letters that Slovak children wrote to Ukrainian children of refugees and escapes, to a strong theater experience. These letters were created in three elementary schools in Košice as a manifestation of solidarity with Ukrainian refugees and refugees within the UNHCR campaign "Dear Refugee". This global initiative represents real letters of young people addressed to refugees and refugees who have influenced their lives. It is an opportunity to think about our common humanity and the task we all play in building more inclusive and compassionate society.
