Divadlo Efeméra: DEDIČSTVO /DIVNÉ VECI 2025/

The production of the heritage of the Efemeer Theater is a stylized probe into the life of the community, where fears, prejudice and indifference are inherited together with property. The story inspired by real events reveals layers of social stereotypes and moral lukewarmness - sometimes packaged to compassion, sometimes presented brutally. The return of the successful doctor András home triggers a chain of confrontations - not only with local conditions, but also with his own past and unanswered trauma. The production asks: Where does a good intention end and start comfortable alibism?

In the village of Bergács, unwritten rules apply. Those "decent" live in houses and decide, the "smell of soaking" are beyond the border. András - a successful doctor who has gone for a better future - returns to this environment. It faces not only local discrimination, but also unwillingness to ask about the real fate of children who have "got a chance". The production reveals a complex entanglement of identity, responsibility and silence. Kováč, Tália King
