About event
Houže Theater brings you a Christmas story like you've never seen before! The audience will see the original story in a "crankie" box that looks like a real film strip. All this in the company of wooden puppets and Christmas songs.
Tonko Slamka is not a bed of roses; he lives in great poverty and takes care of his sick mother. Winter is coming, snow is falling, and Tonko listens from the window to passers-by wishing them good luck. Will there be such a Christmas in a small, poor hut? Although Tonko Slamka is a small and somewhat clumsy boy, he makes sure that a truly generous Christmas reigns in their house. Therefore, he embarks on a painful journey on which he discovers what real wealth is.
