About event
Cimrman's dramatic work
The discovery of Cimrman's play Česká nebe confirmed that the trail of the brilliant author does not end in 1914. The drama depicts the time when World War I broke out on earth. We watch it from heaven, where long-dead giants of Czech history fear for the fate of their people. The Czech Heavenly Commission, composed of St. Wenceslas, the forefather of Bohemia, and J.A. Komenský, is expanding with new members in a crisis situation in order to inculcate the idea of an independent state in the nation. AND. Comenius
