ℹ️ What are the birthday about? The cottage in the Beskydy Mountains, an unexpected celebration, a well -situated birthday boy, a visit to her daughter and her new friend, stabbed neighbors, a lot of alcohol, a reasonable amount of grass, air rifle and much more… Look forward to a celebration that simply cannot take place without complications, clashes and unexpected twists. Successful doctor Pavel (Bořek Slezáček) lives quite on a high leg, but the last days of the holiday longs to experience at his cottage in the Beskydy Mountains as far as possible and alone with his wife Anna (Pavlína Kafková). However, this should not have a birthday and an overly initiative woman who will organize an unexpected celebration with even more unexpected guests. Daughter Míša (Marie Anna Kupcová) will come with a new progressive friend (Michal Sedláček), who has an opinion on everything and all, the neighbors from the nearest homestead - former car mechanic Milan scorch irony and life truths (Vladimír Polak) with his wife Marta Magician, but the Police of the Czech Republic (Izabela Vydrová and Bořivoj Čermák). The birthday, written by the Ostrava native, actor, musician, producer and leading role Bořek Slezáček, is not just (for peaceful conditions) an unusually bitter and satirical story of a random meeting of completely different people on the terrace of one cottage. It is a production about real people with real problems, opinions, sadness, but also the joy that we all know and experience daily. This is one of the reasons why Jan Hřebejk, one of the most famous and most appreciated Czech directors, who became famous for the now legendary film comedies about people and for people such as Pelíšky, Pupendo, Jakali years, a fall of the fall, we have to help and many others. Extraordinary connection of Bořek Slezáček, Jan Hřebejk, visiting Pavlína Kafková (which you already know from the comedy Two completely naked men) and peace actors headed by Vladimír Polák and Lada Bělašková is a guarantee of a unique cultural experience.
