About event

Festival Drama Queer presents Divadlo na cucky: Return to Remeš (via Olomouc)

What is it like to grow up in a working-class family, not to fit in and return to where you left permanently? And what does this personal experience have to do with how we think about society, polarization or politics today? The production, loosely inspired by the book by Didier Eribon, one of the most prominent French intellectuals of today, brings a multi-layered reflection on topics that still touch us: class identity, sexuality and the personal journey to freedom. At the same time, however, he is not afraid of humor, insight or (self)irony.
