"When I think of my dad, I always imagine how he sings a song in a tender and quietly before falling asleep. He was doing this whenever I dreamed about him. Many times. ” They are based on their own experience as well as shared experiences of other fathers and sons. Inspired by Homer and Ibsen, relationships, calls and silence are exploring. We follow the search for a young man for a father who left him. His search will take him to the house of grandfather, where there are "living" and dead. If someone has life so hard that it feels more dead than alive, then apparently someone lives with such ease that they will not even notice, that he is already after death. On the scene reminiscent of the playground and the battlefield, three generations of men try to make contact, show vulnerability and last but not least play music, a lot of music. All this in the background of a periodically returning wars. Live music is played by the performers of the Nie Theater. The impulse for the emergence of this production was the desire to work with improvised music, with music that has the roots at the age of 50, when men played jazz together, wore suits and did not have to say much.
Theater Nie regularly presents his author's work in the Acropolis Palace. It is one of the criticisms of the most respected international theaters of today, which is mainly devoted to the work for youth and adults. The Nie Theater combines physical theater, a mixture of languages, live music, storytelling and connects artists from the Czech Republic, Norway, Belgium, Holland and other European countries. 1.
