About event
Festival Drama Queer presents Diptych of Solitude
Theatrical picture composed of two worlds. Two monodramas, two stories, one solitude.
In the first part, the viewer finds himself in the middle of a night club, where love, identity and meaning are sought among the flashing lights and fleeting touches in the kaleidoscope of club culture.
The second part is an introspective pilgrimage – physical and mental – from Bratislava to Michaloviec, during which the main character she confronts herself and internal questions.
Diverse experiences meet in one universal desire – for love, acceptance and understanding, regardless of orientation, gender or origin. They are not stories with a resolution, more like a mirror. And that doesn't always show what a person is able to see.
