About event
The author's production of the NUDE Theater offers the stories of four women who are looking for freedom in chaos, closeness in loneliness, feeling in emptiness. They are stories about lies, pleasure, the desperate need for faith and fulfillment — only them and the desire to momentarily forget or remember who they really are.
Intimate mosaic with performative elements by the author duo Michal Belej and Lýdia Ondrušová, its name refers to Elizabeth Anne (Betty) Ford, the first lady and wife of American President Gerald Ford, who was one of the first to publicly admit her addiction to drugs and alcohol. By doing so in 1978, she contributed to the destigmatization of the subject of addiction and showed that this experience knows no social boundaries.
