About event
The Jeseníky Mountains are also among the natural gems of our planet. Don't you believe? Come to a lecture about the largest wilderness in Moravia and the return of wolves to our mountains.
We will talk about a lot of interesting things about Jeseníky: what makes them unique in Europe, what makes them endangered, how each of us can help protect local nature, for what rare animals are home to...
We will dedicate a separate part of the lecture to wolves, which are a symbol of wilderness and admiration for many people. Today, however, they often return to the cultural landscape and can also be a symbol of concern. Since ancient times, wolves and humans have had a special relationship and bond: admiration, hatred, respect, awe...
➼ what is the current situation with wolves in the Jeseníky PLA?
➼ why do we need wolves and what is their " role" in nature?
➼ where are our wolves actually from and how to ensure mutual coexistence?
➼ how should one behave in wolf territory and when meeting?
We will see extraordinary mountain scenery and unique shots and videos of wild animals of the Jeseníky Mountains, including wolves and eagles. We will enter the island of the last great wilderness in Moravia, which deserves our respect and right to survive...
Entrance fee: 100 CZK
Original large-format photos and paintings (A3/A4 /panorama).
Lecturer: Ondra Bačík
Organized by: Café Práh and Society of Friends of Jeseníků, z.s.
