Dizajn za humnami: medzinárodná spolupráca a prezentácia slovenského dizajnu

Slovak design has undergone dynamic development in recent decades. From the area, whose social importance was often underrated in our country, it is gradually becoming a recognized part of the cultural and economic space. However, despite the growing interest in design as a tool for innovation, cultural identity and values, its international presentation and international cooperation encounter many barriers. It outlines the perspective of what the future of Slovak design could look like in the international environment. Slovak design is not an isolated island, but part of a larger, globally connected environment. Its development is influenced not only by the domestic environment, but also by international trends and challenges. Although the name "design behind the humans" can evoke a sense of backwardness and a rural past, it actually refers to the border between domestic and others, between acquaintances and new, and encourages us to cross these borders. The first part of public resources research was supported by the Art Support Fund in the spring 2024.
