Do Kolbenky – komentovaná vycházka po stopách ČKD

We invite you to a guided walk that will guide you through the history and present of one of the largest industrial areas of Prague - the former engineering giant ČKD. Our journey will begin at the Kolbenova metro station, where we will learn about the history and current state of this area. We will go through the accessible part of the premises (with the possibility to look into the hall "E", where today is located Pragovka Gallery) and the street Poštovská will return to the main street. We will also visit the little accessible church of Christ King, built by the same companies as the surrounding factories. Here we will work with the period map from the 70s and we will go through one of the few cultural monuments in this area. It will be possible to enter the building of the former health center and look into the book "To Kolbenka".

What you will see on the route (the program may vary slightly depending on the current conditions):

- the last functional foundry of Agma (from outside)
- former factory buildings along Kolbenova Street
- Halls "E" (now e Factory)
- Church of Christ King- Functional Film built by the same companies as the surrounding factories
- ČKD Electrical Engineering Northern Part and former Health Center
- Plan of the area from the 1970s
