About event
The Zen story of a Tokyo public toilet cleaner filmed in Japan by a German classic. 🇯🇵
TICKETS: https://goout.net/cs/dopozile-dny/szvktky/
Hirajama works as a toilet cleaner in Tokyo. He lives contentedly in his carefully constructed routine and spends his free time reading books, listening to old rock tapes or taking pictures with his analog camera. He is disturbed from the harmony of life by a series of unexpected meetings, which gradually reveal fragments of his past. Renowned director Wim Wenders (Sky over Berlin) makes a triumphant return with a poetic film about finding beauty in seemingly small things. The actor in the lead role, Kodži Yakušo, was awarded the Best Actor Award at the Cannes festival.
💡 A minimalist bar (beer, lemonade and snacks) is available right in the cinema. There are also toilets (at the café of the Ethnographic Museum) and blankets, in case you get cold in the evening.
