About event
Escape from the hectic pace of modern life and find peace with Dokwerk Saxophone Quartet on January 15, 2026 in the Muziekgebouw.
In the hectic pace of modern life, the Dokwerk Saxophone Quartet looks for the silence. Their newest program explores the tension between seclusion and connectedness, between inner peace and confrontational void. The Dokwerk Saxophone Quartet is a young and energetic chamber music ensemble that was founded in 2019. From four different parts of the world they have found each other in the cultural bustling city of Amsterdam.
Program:
Philip Glass Mishima
Jörg Widmann 7 Capricci
Wim Henderickx The Seven Chakras
Ramin Amin A Shimmering
