Home ecological experiments
Okay, some of the experiments in the video cannot be done at home because it requires a lot of knowledge and equipment. I personally don't know that much and I don't have the equipment, but our guides are here to help - part of the work takes place at regular field exercises on ecology in Lomy near Kunžak. You can look forward to predators, filters, but also a remote-controlled submarine.
But the second part of the video already includes home experiments with plants and everyone can really do it :-)
FILMING LOCATION: Czech Canada 2025 & 2026 and a home cellar :-)

Dude, I actually filmed a new science series!
The funniest part is that I didn't even know I was filming it! It occurred to me this year while diving in Croatia, when I was pondering how much footage I had shot but not edited! :-)
Sure - it's a lot of work right now, but I can already say that the series TOUCHES OF THE PLANET differs from probably all other series in several points:
- if possible, I would like to do an offline preview of each episode for everyone who is interested in the topic and who would like to come and meet the heroes of the given episode... Screenings are held in the Great Geological Auditorium of the Faculty of Natural Sciences of Charles University (address is Albertov 6). Anyone can come, the event on campus is of course completely free
- individual episodes will cover not only natural science expeditions (Antarctica, Colombia, Botswana, Germany), foreign excursions (Moldova, Croatia), unclassifiable trips to nature (Sri Lanka, Azores, Spain), experiments on people (Nepal), or perhaps stories from laboratories and practices (meteorites, chemical explosions)
- footage individual parts will be unpredictable and irregular; simply as needed, but above all without unnecessary stretching or, on the contrary, shortening; but I will try for a monthly periodicity
- the topics are as they were written by life itself, i.e. completely without the intervention of the screenwriter :-)
What do you think? Will you ever visit our faculty for an offline chat? Will you keep an eye on the net when it's out? :-)
