Trust, Tears & Taxes
2. - 4. 6. Tears & Taxes examines the experience of adolescence in the contemporary world without an uncertain future. When do we become part of the company? What makes us credible in it? And do we have the opportunity to influence our own future, or are we predetermined to it with our own family background? The dialogue reflects the tension between searching for personal identity and social expectations and its external validation. Adolescence is not only a biological or psychological transformation, but a cultural and political act. The exhibition opens the question of what it means to "grow up" in a split time.
